ARCHITECTURE
01. The House:
Mesopotamian used mud bricks, mud plaster, wooden doors, and many more. They’re available around the city. They have large centre room with other rooms attached to it. Most of them are varied upon it sizes and material used.
02. The Palace:
The palaces in Mesopotamia are usually very large, decorated lavishly. This can be seen at Khafajah Palace in Diyala River. Gates and important passageways were flanked with massive stone sculpture of apostrophic mythological figures. These palaces functioned as large scale socio-economic institutions, therefore, along with residential and private function, they housed craftsmen workshops, food storehouses, ceremonial courtyards, and often associated with shrines.
03. The Ziggurats:
They are massive pyramids found in certain Mesopotamian sanctuaries. For example, the "White" Temple dedicated to Anu at Uruk. This Ziggurat is built during the late Uruk period. Many people say that Ziggurats are built to resemble mountains, but none has ever proven the hypothesis.
